Mahsa Hedayatzadeh
Mahsa is a PhD Candidate in Education, holding an ECE certification, and a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Practitioner certificate. Additionally, she is certified in Montessori principles and trained in the early identification of ADHD and Autism. Her journey in education began over a decade ago as a university professor and a researcher, driven by a commitment to fostering inclusive, enriching learning environments for children. Since 2025, Mahsa has had the privilege of serving as the Director of Willowbrae Academy in Squamish, where she strives to cultivate a community of growth, curiosity, and connection. Beyond her professional role, Mahsa leads workshops on parent-child communication and the challenges families face, helping to bridge understanding and support for both parents and children. She is also deeply engaged in researching parenting and teaching methodologies, developing educational curricula, and exploring innovative approaches to early learning. Mahsa believes that strong, meaningful relationships form the foundation of a child’s development and well-being. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys traveling, working out, and painting professionally, finding inspiration in creativity, movement, and exploration.
