Edisa Residovic
Edisa obtained a Diploma in Early Childhood Education Diploma in 2014 and has an extensive
background in the Montessori Curriculum. Edisa is a huge advocate for childrens right and well-being
which gave her an opportunity to be an active member of the Mentoring for ECEs Research Project.
Edisa started working with Willowbrae Academy in 2017 as an Infant/Toddler Educator. As she moved
roles as a Preschool Educator, her commitment to fostering a holistic educational experience only
deepened. Edisa was recognized for her leadership skills, dedication, and natural passion, and was
promoted to Floor Supervisor. This was a pivotal role in her career as she shaped the learning
environment and was able to mentor Educators within her team.
A new opportunity came across her path and Edisa was promoted as Assistant Director. Alongside her
colleagues, Edisa successfully helped open a new Academy. During here time there, she was able to
approach her new role with a fresh perspective and a commitment to innovation.
Today, Edisa is proudly serving as the Director at the River District Location. Her mission is to create an
environment where children not only learn but flourish – where their voices are heard, their rights are
advocated, and their well-being is at forefront of every educational endeavour. She is eager to shape an
educational environment that inspires curiosity, fosters creativity and lays the groundwork for a lifetime
of learning opportunities.
