Lisa Veasey-Brown

Lisa has worked with children and families for 15 years. Lisa grew up in Northern BC and then moved to Calgary for post education. She graduated with a Bachelor of Child Studies including a certificate in Children’s Mental Health and Child and Youth Human Rights from Mount Royal College (University). Lisa has experience working within childcare and community family programs in Northern BC, Calgary, and Edmonton. Lisa went to Italy to attend the Reggio Email Study Program in 2017. She worked on the Decision Team with the Accreditation of Early Learning and Care Services in 2019/2020. Lisa is passionate about creating healthy play environments for children. She has a true passion for education and supporting children and teachers to develop to their fullest. Lisa has a family with a husband, son and 2 rescue dogs. When at home, she enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. She is very excited to have the opportunity to be working with you and your family. Lisa looks forward to welcome families to the Millcreek Willowbrae Academy..
