Kulwinder (Kinder) Gill
With over 25 years of experience in early childhood education, Kinder is a dedicated Early Childhood Educator with extensive Montessori training. Her career encompasses both childcare and preschool settings, reflecting my deep commitment to nurturing early development in children. Kinder’s journey in early childhood education began in 1996 with six years at a Montessori center in Prince George, BC, where she worked in both the preschool and daycare programs. She managed and operated a successful Montessori-based preschool program in Prince George from 2002 to 2008, before relocating to the Lower Mainland. After the move to the Lower Mainland area, Kinder was employed by CEFA as Principal in Langley and as a Centre Manager most recently in a large childcare centre in the South Surrey area. She decided to make a move and join Willowbrae Academy as Director in October 2024 after exploring the opportunity and seeing how this role would allow her to apply my professional skills and how closely this position is aligned with her experience and expertise gained over the years. Kinder is passionate about working with young children and believes that the early years are crucial for learning, as children are exceptionally receptive to new information. She feels honored to play a significant role in their development during these formative years and cherishes the opportunity to contribute to their growth and be a part of shaping the future leaders of tomorrow. As the Director at Willowbrae Academy, Kinder is thrilled to continue supporting families and children while fostering and empowering her dedicated team of Early Childhood Educators with my strong leadership and mentoring skills.
