Nicole Noriega
Nicole graduated from Capilano University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and has
been working in the field since 2010. Nicole’s passion for quality care and education has given
her the opportunity to work with all age groups in New Zealand and in Canada.
Nicole started with Willowbrae Academy in 2017 as a Preschool educator. Her leadership skills,
exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for providing the highest standards of
care was quickly recognized by the team and led to her promotion as the Floor Supervisor and
Assistant Director shortly after. In 2019, Nicole was promoted to Academy Director.
Nicole’s approach to education is influenced by her love for traveling and experiencing diverse
cultures. She believes in instilling values such as respect, empathy, and inclusivity in all aspects
of her work. Her leadership style fosters a team of Educators who are kind, caring, thoughtful,
and organized which creates a nurturing and supportive environment for the children in the
Academy. Outside of work, Nicole loves to scuba dive, travel, snowboard, and spend time with
her family and friends.
