Poonam Chhabra
Poonam has been working in the early childhood education field for nearly two decades. She graduated with her Early Childhood Education diploma from Langara College in 2008. Over the years, Poonam has held various leadership roles in the sector—from supervising at a non-profit childcare society to successfully opening and operating her own licensed childcare center. These experiences have equipped her with a strong foundation in both educational programming and childcare business operations. Poonam brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for high-quality early learning to her role as Director at Willowbrae Academy Delta. She is committed to creating a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children feel supported, empowered, and excited to learn. Her approach to early childhood education is rooted in fostering strong partnerships with families and supporting the growth and development of each child as a unique individual. Outside of work, Poonam enjoys exploring new ideas in early learning, spending time with her family, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. She is thrilled to lead the Delta location and looks forward to building a strong, dedicated team that supports the children and families in the community.
