Brittany Green
Brittany brings many years of childcare experience as well as a love for being a part of children’s early
development from infant to school ready children.
She graduated from Durham College where she first obtained a degree in Protection, Security, and
Investigation and then a few years later found her true passion in Early Childhood Education which she
graduated with honours in. She began her career in the childcare field in 2013 as a Nanny which really
sparked her love for watching children learn and grow and she knew she wanted to continue being a
part of that amazing process. Once those children were off to school Brittany began working in the
daycare field in 2016. Then in 2018 she switched from daycare to The York District School Board where
she worked in the kindergarten classroom. Finally in August 2022 she began working at Willowbrae
Academy Bayview as the Assistant Director and quickly moved up to the Director role in January 2023.
Her goal is to provide the best quality of care for all children in her Academy and to ensure they are safe,
feel a sense of belonging and can thrive! When Brittany is not working you can find her spending time
with her son, at the cottage surrounded by nature, baking extravagant cakes, doing DIY crafts or
exercising.
Brittany strives to build meaningful relationships with all parents, children, and staff in her Academy.
Her door is always open, and she looks forward to meeting your family and welcoming you to
